I LOVE THIS QUOTE! It could not speak more truth or hold so much applicability to my life. It reminds me of the times where jewelry is a big part of my life. To put this in perspective, I think back to when I was 10 years old and getting my ears pierced. I wore those little gold studs like a badge of honor. Then there is one of my most precious memories and cherished piece of jewelry - a pair of hoops that were my grandmother's and given to me after she passed away. She had them made out of pure gold nuggets. I believe to this day that is the reason I love hoops so much because when I wear a pair I can carry the memories of her with me. Lastly, of course there's the diamond ring on my finger that reminds me of the day my husband got down on one knee on that beach so many years ago and asked me to be his wife or even our wedding day when we exchanged rings. The story of my husband and myself began the best chapter of my life. My family! And this is where I tell you a little bit about my life.

 

I live in a very beautiful, but small old town in California, which is located just about an hour and a half outside of Yosemite National Park and three hours from the beach. Here I live with my husband and two sons (although one is away at college in Oklahoma and the other living in his own house just a few miles down the road) on 40 acres, where we have dogs, cattle and horses. My husband also leases multiple acres of land where he runs stocker cattle and my sons have their herd of show cows. The Western lifestyle is a huge part of my life. There is riding horses, rodeo for my boys, gathering cattle, branding and roping. Many family memories have been made in our roping arena and barns. I wouldn't have it any other way, because it is these memories and values that mean the most to my family and me. There truly is no better lifestyle.

It is this Western lifestyle and memories spent in the country scene that created my inspiration and sparked my passion for creating jewelry. My line has a huge Western influence. You will also see a Southwest influence as well. I love trendy , traditional looks that show off my ties to the western community and lifestyle. There is a variety of cabochons, stones and a variety of stamp designs that I feel not only showcase my lifestyle and background, but also the lifestyles of many others.
